AutoCAD 2024 macOS

AutoCAD 2024 macOS AutoCAD 2024 macOS is the macOS release of the Autodesk drafting and design standard. It brings the full DWG toolset to the Mac with a native interface — menus, tabs and trackpad gestures that feel at home next to the professional design apps of the platform.

Core Functions. 2D drafting covers the complete toolkit: layers, blocks, hatches, dimensions, annotative objects and dynamic input, with the command line for speed and the palettes for precision. 3D modeling supports solids, surfaces and meshes with rendering for presentation views. The drawing history and view/plot tools keep revisions under control, and XREF management handles multi-file projects. DWG compatibility is native on both directions with the Windows world, and PDF import turns existing documentation into editable geometry. The Favorites and toolset palettes adapt the workspace to each discipline — architecture, mechanical, electrical — while blocks libraries and the block manager keep company standards one click away. Cloud storage connectivity puts project files in the same place on every machine.

New in 2024. Version 2024 continues the macOS-native modernization: faster open and save on large sheets, improved Apple-silicon performance, refreshed toolsets, and the accumulated subscription-cycle fixes.

Supported Systems. Supported systems: macOS (Apple silicon and Intel). Recommended: 8 GB RAM, 10 GB free disk space.
