RobCAD Ver9.0 RobCAD Ver9.0 is the Tecnomatix robot simulation and offline programming environment for automotive body shops and large robot lines. Whole stations — robots, guns, fixtures and skids — come alive in one model where reachability, cycle time and weld quality are proven long before the first real robot is delivered.
Core Functions. The ergonomic station editor arranges robots, positioners, guns and clamps and manages their kinematics; spot-welding projects distribute thousands of weld points across robots and guns automatically. Reach studies, collision checks and the cycle-time simulation tune gun opens, robots and conveyor moves; the line simulation couples dozens of stations to validate the production flow. Offline programming generates robot programs in native controller languages, and the teach-point management transfers them to the shop floor with calibration. Homing and service positions, gun exchanges and tip-dress operations are part of the same model, and the open interfaces exchange layouts and results with the surrounding planning world.
New in Version 9.0. Version 9.0 is the mature 9.x generation: full spot-welding and line-simulation capability, refined import of robot and gun models, and the accumulated corrections of the line.
