FTActivation Web 4.00.02 FTActivation Web 4.00.02 is the Rockwell Automation license management utility for FactoryTalk-branded software. It moves, rehosts and reclaims software activation files between computers — the everyday tool whenever a license has to travel from a failed laptop to a replacement or from an office station to a commissioning machine.
Core Functions. The web-based console lists every activation available to the signed-in account and lets the user generate, download and activate licenses on the local machine or a USB dongle. Rehosting returns a license to the activation server so it can be issued elsewhere; the repair action rebuilds activations after disk or OS damage. Product coverage spans the FactoryTalk and Studio 5000 portfolio, with activation files tied to the target hardware ID. The interface shows expiry, count and host of each activation, and the offline workflow supports machines that never see the internet — generate a request file, activate elsewhere, bring the license back. For teams, one account can administer the licenses of a whole engineering department.
