Unity Pro XL V13 Unity Pro XL V13 is the Schneider Electric programming and configuration suite for Modicon Premium, M340 and Quantum platforms. A single project holds the PLC logic, the hardware configuration, the HMI links and the documentation, so commissioning and long-term maintenance stay consistent across the whole installation.

Core Functions. All five IEC 61131-3 languages are available, and reusable derived function blocks turn proven logic into a company library. The simulation mode runs the application against a virtual PLC, including fault injection, so logic can be proven before hardware arrives. Online functions — animation tables, dynamic data windows and run-time modifications — support live debugging without a production stop. Network and communication configuration for Modbus, EtherNet and Profibus sits in the same editor, and the diagnostic screens read controller and module status directly. Project comparison, protection by password and version archiving cover regulated environments, while the integrated operator screen option adds basic local visualization to smaller machines.

New in Version 13. Version 13 consolidates the last generation of Unity Pro releases before the EcoStruxure Control Expert transition: updated hardware support, faster application downloads, and the accumulated fixes from years of field use.
