SprutCAM X SprutCAM X is the SPRUT Technology CAM environment for multi-axis machining and robot programming. One package serves the milling machine, the mill-turn center and the machining robot — toolpaths are computed against native CAD geometry and posted to the shop’s controllers.
Core Functions. The 2.5-axis to 5-axis milling strategies cover roughing, rest machining, finishing and hardening-tolerant high-speed paths; turning and mill-turn operations live in the same workflow. SolidCAM-style feature recognition groups holes and pockets into machining features processed in batches. The robot module turns an industrial robot into a machining or cutting machine: external axes, tool orientation and singularity handling included, with simulation of the whole cell. Post-processors output G-code for the common controls — Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain — and can be adapted per machine. The toolpath simulation with material removal and collision control protects machine, tool and part before the first real cut.
What this version offers. The X generation moves the whole workflow to the current multi-tasking core with cloud-supported tool libraries; this page lists the release without a bundled installer or activation.
Supported Systems. Supported systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Recommended: 16 GB RAM, 20 GB free disk space, a professional graphics card.
