Portal Data Account 2025 The Portal Data Account connects EPLAN Electric P8 to the EPLAN Data Portal, the manufacturer database for electrical engineering. Instead of drawing component symbols and typing technical parameters by hand, you search a part number and download the data straight into your project.
What It Does. Inside EPLAN Electric P8 the Data Portal searches hundreds of manufacturer catalogs — PLCs, drives, switchgear, sensors, connectors and more. One click brings the schematic symbol, technical parameters and macro into the open project, consistent with the part’s real datasheet. This removes the largest time sink in electrical CAD: hunting for accurate component data and recreating it manually. Parts downloaded from the portal carry the correct article numbers and manufacturer data, so bills of materials, ordering and cross-referencing stay clean across the whole project.
How Delivery Works. This is an account, not a software installer: after purchase the access data is sent to your email — nothing to download, no activation key, nothing to install. Sign in with it inside EPLAN Electric P8 and the Data Portal opens. One account is intended for one user; for a colleague, buy an additional account.
