LOGO! Soft Comfort 8.2

LOGO! Soft Comfort 8.2 LOGO! Soft Comfort 8.2 is the Siemens engineering software for the LOGO! logic module family. It turns the small controller of a pump stand, gate control or ventilation unit into a documented, maintainable project — a practical step up from relay logic and time switches for machines that still deserve proper engineering.

Core Functions. Programs are written in function block diagram or ladder logic, dragging timers, counters, comparators and analog blocks onto a worksheet and wiring them graphically. A simulation mode runs the circuit with virtual inputs before it is transferred to the module, and online mode shows signal states on the real device. Parameter sets, summer/winter time switching and message texts are configured in the same project, and the module configuration covers expansion modules and communication over Ethernet. Projects can be printed as complete circuit documentation, stored as files, and uploaded from a connected module for service or migration. A card slot on the module lets a finished program be duplicated to the next machine in seconds.

New in Version 8.2. Version 8.2 supports the current LOGO! hardware generation, refreshes the simulation and file handling, and collects the fixes from field use.
