GP-Pro EX 4.09.6 is Pro-face’s industry-standard HMI development software for designing, simulating, and maintaining operator panels across the complete GP4000 and GP3000 display series, LT panel computers, and WinGP PC-based runtime stations.
Core Functions. Screens, ladder-logic programs, alarms, data logging, recipes, and communication drivers are managed in one project. A drag-and-drop library supplies industrial switches, lamps, text and numeric displays, trend and historical charts, and graphs with Windows fonts and full-color graphics, visualizing production data directly on the panel. The built-in ladder engine plus scripting runs logic directly on the HMI — data conversion, interlocks, and totalizers execute without loading the PLC. Drivers cover FANUC, Mitsubishi Electric, OMRON, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Keyence, and other major controllers over serial, Ethernet, and fieldbus links. Offline simulation tests every screen and rung on the PC before download, alarm history and CSV sampling log to USB or SD storage, recipes transfer batch parameters in one step, and password levels restrict viewing, operation, and editing. Remote maintenance is built in: GP-Viewer EX mirrors the live panel in any web browser, and an integrated FTP server simplifies log and recipe transfers.

Supported Systems. Development environment runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (32/64-bit), with legacy Windows support retained for maintaining installed machines. Runtime targets include all GP4000 and GP3000 series HMIs, LT series panel computers, and WinGP software HMI, which lets a standard industrial PC replace a dedicated panel without changing the project.
