Kuka Sim AddOn Kuka Sim AddOn extends the KUKA.Sim simulation family with additional capability for cell builders: extra robot models, application options and the export path from the digital twin to real KUKA controller code. It slots beside KUKA.Sim Pro/tech in the same project world.

Core Functions. The add-on enriches the KUKA.Sim environment with extended component libraries and behavior modeling for typical cell equipment — conveyors, positioners, grippers and sensors. Reachability and collision checks run against true KUKA kinematics, and the cycle-time measurement evaluates layouts the way the controller will actually move. KRL robot programs are previewed and edited, and Office-mode virtual controllers execute them exactly as the shop-floor KR C will. The 2D and 3D import filters accept the common CAD exchange formats so machine geometry arrives intact, and results — videos, cycle-time tables, layout drawings — document the concept for management and customer review.

What this version offers. This package adds the extended library and programming options of its generation to a KUKA.Sim installation, with the corrections of the release line.

Supported Systems. Supported systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit; KUKA.Sim base installation required. Recommended: 16 GB RAM, 20 GB free disk space, a discrete graphics card.
