ROBODK 6.1.1

ROBODK 6.1.1 ROBODK 6.1.1 from RoboDK is an offline robot programming and simulation environment built around two production toolkits: robot CAM and robotic 3D printing. Teams import a CAD model, generate or import the toolpath, convert it to native robot programs, and validate every move in simulation before any hardware runs — one project carries the cell from first layout study to final program.

Core Functions. The CAM side imports machining and printing toolpaths from your CAM system or slices models directly, then post-processors translate G-code and APT-style paths into native programs for hundreds of robot brands. The 3D printing side prints from any angle and at any scale — curves, overhangs, and undercuts that box printers cannot reach — because the print head reorients continuously, so support structures shrink and post-processing is cut. Workcells scale from benchtop extruders to deposition systems with 30-meter envelopes, covering thermoplastics, composites, metals, clay, pellet, and concrete deposition. The proven workflow runs end to end: CAD model, slicing, robot path conversion, layer-by-layer printing, and optionally robotized surface finishing. Alongside the additive toolkit, collision detection with safety zones, cycle-time analysis, external-axis management for positioners and tracks, and full 3D cell modeling with accurate kinematics keep programs safe and transferable — offline programs reach the real robot without re-teaching.

New in Version 6.1.1. New in version 6.1.1: refinements to the printing and machining toolpath toolkit, an expanded post-processor library, faster slicing on large models, and refreshed user-interface details in the most-used editors, with tighter integration with the current hardware generation.

Supported Systems. System requirements: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, 8 GB RAM minimum, 10 GB free disk space, and administrator rights for installation and device communication.
