OCTOPUZ robotics 2.1

OCTOPUZ robotics 2.1 OCTOPUZ robotics 2.1 is the OCTOPUZ offline robot programming and simulation package. One environment programs robots of different brands for complex applications — welding, cutting, dispensing and machine tending — and outputs native code for each controller.

Core Functions. Cells are built by importing CAD and adding robots, tools and fixtures; the library covers current and legacy manipulators with true kinematics. Multiple-programming lets several robots share a station with coordinated motion and collision awareness. The path editor generates weld and process paths from geometry, and the simulation validates reach, speed and cycle time against the real limits of each machine. Post-processors translate the verified program into the controller’s own language, minimizing touch-up on the floor. Tool definition, TCP management and calibration routines align simulation with reality, and the reporting documents paths, times and settings for the project file.

New in Version 2.1. Version 2.1 belongs to the earlier generation of the OCTOPUZ line — the same multi-brand core, with the interface and post-processor coverage of its era plus the accumulated fixes.

Supported Systems. Supported systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Recommended: 16 GB RAM, 20 GB free disk space, a discrete graphics card.
