Panasonic DTPS for G2

Panasonic DTPS for G2 Panasonic DTPS for G2 is the Panasonic programming and simulation environment for Panasonic welding and handling robots. The 3D station proves reachability and torch access on CAD data, and the taught program travels to the controller with position and process data intact.

Core Functions. Robots, guns and workpieces are assembled in the virtual cell; collision checks and reach studies validate the layout before the real cell is built. Programming follows Panasonic’s TP-language framework with arc-welding and spot-welding instructions, weave parameters and process conditions editable in structured tables. The simulator executes programs against true robot kinematics and reports cycle time, and the seaming tools generate weld paths along CAD geometry. Coordinate management, tool definition and calibration align the model with the real robot after transfer. Backup and comparison functions support service on installed Panasonic cells, and the documentation output prints the program with positions and parameters as a project record.

What this version offers. This engineering-temporary build of the DTPS line for the G2 controller generation carries the established programming and simulation toolset with the fixes of its build train.

Supported Systems. Supported systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Recommended: 8 GB RAM, 15 GB free disk space, a discrete graphics card.
