COMAU RoboSim (WinC5G) COMAU RoboSim (WinC5G) is the COMAU environment for simulating and programming COMAU robots. Body-in-white stations, arc-welding cells and handling lines are built as 3D models in which the real robot kinematics prove reachability and cycle time before installation.
Core Functions. Robots, guns, positioners and fixtures are assembled into a station; reach studies and collision detection verify every motion of the planned cycle. The offline programming follows COMAU’s PDL2 language, and programs refined in simulation transfer to the C5G-open controller with minimal re-teaching. Cycle-time analysis identifies the slow axes and wasted seconds, and the path editor optimizes approach and retreat positions. Spot and arc welding application modules carry process parameters — gun force, welding curves — through simulation into production. Conveyor and peripheral logic can be coupled to the robot cycle, and the open interfaces exchange geometry and programs with the surrounding planning tools of an automotive plant.
What this version offers. This WinC5G-generation build carries the established simulation and PDL2 programming toolset for COMAU robot fleets with the fixes of its release line.
Supported Systems. Supported systems: Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit. Recommended: 16 GB RAM, 20 GB free disk space, a professional graphics card.
